The map from 1791, The British Possessions in North America from the best Authorities by Samuel Lewis, was included among total of 20 maps ("and one chart") in Carey's American Atlas, Philadelphia: Mathew Carey, 1795, - the first atlas of America to be printed in America ("Price, Plain, Five Dollars-Coloured, Six Dollars").

The shorelines look rather adventurous (especially the Avalon Peninsula in Eastern Newfoundland must suffer), but the hand-engraved map is nevertheless very impressive.
